Cornucopia of Titanes

The titans did not have any symbols. This is because after the battle with the Olympians the titans were exiled, therefore the were not worshipped nor were they given symbols to represent them.[6]

Fabella of Titanes

After overthrowing his father Uranus, Cronus became the ruler over the Titans. Cronus married his sister Rhea. On Earth, the time when Cronus had power was known as the Golden Age. Gaea, told Cronus that he would be overthrown  by his son, just as Uranus. To prevent this, Cronus ate his children as they were born from Rhea. Rhea relized that she would not have any children, so she tricked Cronus into eating a rock instead of one of her children whom she named Zeus.

When Zeus grew up he married one of the daughters of the titans. Oceanus and Tethys gave birth to Metis who gave Cronus the elixer, given by Gaea, the would make Cronus vomit Zeus' brothers and sisters. War broke out between the titans and the gods. The titanesses did not join the war and Oceanus remained neutral. The male titans were left to fight.  Zeus knew that he was out numbered  so he called upon some of the titans. Styx and her children were the first to join Zeus. Prometheus knew the titans would lose so he and Epimetheus joined. Prometheus tried to convince Atlas to join but he remained loyal and even lead the Titan army.

Gaea informed Zeus about her imprisoned sons, cyclops and the hundred-handeds. She asured Zeus that they would help him if he released them. Once released, the cyclops made weapons for the gods and the three hundred-handeds could throw 100 large boulders each, at the titans. The war lasted ten years before the gods won. Zeus trapped the titans in Tartarus, which was guarded by the hundred-handeds. The cyclops assisted Hephaestus in the forgery. Zeus punished Atlas by making him carry the Heavens on his shoulders. Today, this war is known as Titanomachia.[7]
